Major Pettigrew's Last Stand: A great read!

Ms. Helen Simonson has created a great world to read about taking place in an English village.  Major Pettigrew's Last Stand is a lasting and memorable plot with a quite humble and caring protagonist (this of course is Major Pettigrew).  Major Pettigrew is about finding a second chance at love and overcoming loss.  The characters in Major Pettigrew are interesting and the overall story is a good page turner.  Simonson also made the New York Times List with Major Pettigrew being her first work.  Check it out here at Harrison Memorial Library's Main Library.
